Beta testers needed - xPod music player
Hey there folks, I'm going to be releasing xPod, a music player with some cool features. I need some beta testers to try it out. If interested, pm me or e-mail xpodplayer AT gmail.com.
I decided to write my own music player because I am a Linux user, so I obviously cannot use iTunes to sync music to my iPhone. While the existing ones work well, they just didn't have the combination of features I was looking for, such as flexible and easy to use album art support. I figured it would be a fun project as well.
Thanks!
Brian

Hey there, yes it runs fine on iOS 4. I haven't implemented the multitasking yet though, so for now you'll have to use Backgrounder (free on Cydia) to play music in the background.
Thanks for the kind words as well! I'm glad you like it.

I am using this app but need back ground and ability to add songs
I am using this app but need back ground and ability to add songs. When I add songs in the music directory they do not show in Xpod and it also locks up when you scroll the songs to select. Nice app could be a real winner need some help I will take it from here if you have given up.Just get me the code and I will finish to perfect it. Itunes sucks so this is a great alternative if you can get it finished. has to be able to play in back ground.
