i originally installed version 0.6 and it worked great. then i updated to 0.7 and it didn't work at all. i would restart as many times as i could stand, and no dice. yesterday, i uninstalled it, hoping to try to get it to work and now it's not on installer any longer. anyone know the reason? i LOVED this app when it worked as 0.6.

Great app. Worth the admission price of downgrading alone. I only wish it had some settings. I don't find the SMS icon all that useful since they appear on the lock screen. Would love to turn it off.
I'm so glad I don't have to meet The Internet People.

I just got a little concern. Does it use more battery life of the phone since it is always running in the background? And does it require SSH to be installed? Because I noticed that it doesn't work after SSH is uninstalled.

Hey Poetic_Folly,
I just read your task notifier post and this is brilliant!!!!!!!
I hate to ask you for a small favor, but could you instruct me how to install this into my iPhone.
If I have the Installer app 3.0 (would it be included, and if so under what?)
Please let me know,
Regards,
Mario Garcia

Ok it would appear that this issue is caused by a bug in apples mail preferences
which appears to leave details of old accounts in your mail data base file. Security
anyone?!
The following has worked for a number of users and is non destructive (Mail will
re-download all of the emails that are still on the server, this does not delete them
from the server).
Below is a copy of the instructions I gave to two users (and these steps worked for
both of them). N.B. The step in which you rename the Envelope Index file is just so
you have a backup of the locally cached emails, if you don't care just change this
step to deleting it, it will have the same effect.
Ok, Easy way! Get Mobile Finder from installer.app and we can do this all from the
phone :-)
1. Once installed, run mobile finder.
2. Click the ~ in the top right corner.
3. Double tap Library.
4. Scroll to Mail and double tap.
5. Tap Envelope Index once.
6. Hit the modify button in the middle at the bottom.
7. Tap on it's file name and add something on the end ('old' for example).
8. Click done at the bottom in the middle (where modify was).
9. Hit the home button.
10. Click the mail icon (you should see that there are no messages for a second).
It should then re-download everything.
P.S. If the mail app doesn't notice you've removed it's database, hit home and open
it again and it should....
I just went ahead and deleted the file outright with OpenSSH, and it worked like a charm.

Is it possible to have a low beep or just vibrate in X minutes (1 min/3 mins./etc.) on top of just showing an icon on the status bar?

Thanks. There are a number of cool apps out there, but this one is probably one of the most functional and important ones I use. Thanks again
