how do I get the previews to show?
you could have backed up everything within the backboard folder then just swapped them out when you upgrade and reinstall backboard.
EDIT:
latest update goosed my phone,

In order to back up my existing themes before I install the next version, do I just copy the 2 main Backboard files and then replace them after I install the new version.

I backed up the plist only and it didn't work! Not a big deal though! I just went through and re-setup all my themes. It actually worked out well because I was able to clean up the themes as I went.
This is still the best Cydia app out there! Now, I'm going to try and set the preview pics again. Hopefully it will work for me in this version!!

Hi. Am wondering if anyone can help me with a problem I'm having with the current version 1.2 of BackBoard. I'm not sure if it is a glitch in the app, user error or just due to the complexity of some themes.
I've currently only got two themes saved using Backboard but they are taking up 4.2gb of space. Is this right?? And how can I correct the problem.
I've previously used versions 1.1.2 (or maybe it was 1.1.3) and had the same problem. Version 1.1.4 I didn't have the problem and now with version 1.2 the problem is back again.
Any help would be appreciated as I love this app but love not running out of disk space even more.
thanks.
ps. I've since worked out that the 2gb files are being held in Wynd\iSetup\(themename)\Preferences\AppBackup\tarb alls. Can I just delete this file. Does BackBoard really need to also backup data that's been backed up using AppBackup???? If that makes sense. Thanks.Last edited by dakkota; 12-28-2010 at 12:48 AM.

There was a little trouble with Backboard.
If you restore a theme, the English language is selected by default when respring and even if the original language is French.

With the final release of BackBoard now out (Thanks!!!) where can we get Themes which already have settings for BackBoard? So there is no setup required...

Awesome app, looks a lot different from the beta I tried months ago.
My language changes to English also.
I get around that by not respringing from the app after installing a theme.
Instead I close the app go into Settings app (already English at that point), change the language back to Dutch and then respring.
I'll donate to support further development of this app

I just went from the beta to the one in Cydia and I get:
"Unsupported URL
This URL wasnt loaded:
backboardbeta://Setup_Exists
Ive removed beta before installing the one in Cydia, rebooted, reinstalled the Cydia one, respring, rebooted, etc and nothing has changed... Is this because the theme isnt in Cydia? is this because the "security" of the themes since people crack them?
Anyone have any thoughts?
