check it out new app in Cydia that works as a Screen Recorder for your iPhone screen. I can see that it would be very useful in making tutorials and showing new apps or themes. It is for sale for two dollars and looks great other than that in the description is says it may crash

I haven't tried it but I would love to here other's experiences with this app....

I guess it takes out the middle man of having to record Veency or something like that from your computer, but it looks kind of laggy, hopefully that gets fixed over time...

I downloaded it and in about 30 minutes I'll upload the vid I make (I guess you'll get a sneak peek at my theme too

The ScreenRecorder is a great app if you have to shoot something straightaway and there isn't a pc in sight.
I just wish there were some settings in there to improve the framerate / latency of the recording so it won't lag so much.
Overall, a must have!

Thanks. Been following some of the threads here since i got my iPhone and have found modmyi.com forums very useful indeed. So i guess it was about time I registered and contributed.

I tried it but it felt really laggy. Plus I l could only record like 45 seconds before memory got too low. I'd like to see what it will turn into though.

The new version, coming out either tonight or tomorow night, can record infinitely.

Is anyone else having problems with the new version crashing..I cant even get it to open. Potential conflicts? Anyone have a similar problem or a potential solution? I have reinstalled both Screen Recorder and ffmpeg in a feeble attempt at troubleshooting...Also disabled Firewall IP as the latest version has a conflict with iFile and thought it [might be related to this issue too...but it still dint open.

While it is sorta cool, it's rather choppy when recording (even on a 3GS). The videos are basically slide shows.

You'll have much better luck when using Veency via USB.
