    Default Lockinfo or Intelliscreen
Just wondering what you guys think of these two apps. I've done the Search feature and read some on both. But What do you you guys think as far as the two apps.. which is better.. I'm looking to purchase one soon as trail runs out of both..

Maybe which one has more plug-in's or best on battery life or just overall features.

Basically which one did you guys choose and why?

I have both. Lockinfo has more plugins and gaining in interactivity, Intelliscreen is more stable and useable for me. There's a big update coming soon supposedly.

I prefer lockinfo, it's more simple yet has potential for really great plugins. It looks and fits better on my iPhone, personally.

I own both. Currently Intelliscreen gets the nod, but only by a very slim margin. LockInfo is coming on strong.

I don't notice any difference in battery life and stability.

LI has more plugins clearly. The only thing right now keeping me on Intelliscreen is the ability to open Calendar entries in a pop-up from the lock screen. I use this all the time to get addresses, phone numbers, and notes on appointments (without having to unlock and launch calendar).

I originally paid for IS a year ago and didn't like how it felt so bloated. I love lockscreen so much more and will never look back.

Yeah I have the trial's of both. I haven't really decided which I want to go with. Seems like sometimes I have problems with it loading.. seems to take in a while after a respring.

I have used both. While Lockinfo has more plugins, I really prefer the IS UI. I will say though that if you are looking for support from the dev, then don't even bother with IS. Help is non existent! There has been a posting in the Lockinfo thread, that there is a "big" update in the works for IS, but seeing is believing. I really hope they do though, because it is a great app.

Agreed... IS's calendar feature is where its at. I haven owned IS since launch date and have recently been using LI for the past week and really beginning to like it, especially the plugins. Haven't heard anything on this big update for IS, but curious as to what it is since there haven't been any new features since it's launched. But I can't make a decision on the two just yet, but I am really starting to feel LI.

Default Have both; Intelliscreen features I like
I like both of these and am looking forward to Element.

I think Intelliscreen is a little more sophisticated. Quick view and I especially like the call alerts that use the curled up page function...very slick.

Lockinfo requires a lot of user setup, intelliscreen is click and go. Why would you pay $5 for something that requires you to do all the work? Lockinfo was good when it was free.

@one1 first of all. Jailbreaking shouldn't even be intended for users who lack knowledge and are lazy. Complex setup is what gives you more control ad options over an app to get your desired needs. Besides lockinfo is only 5 dollars.

A good idea would be for you to stick to jailbreaking on your terms and stop telling everyone else how or why they should be doing what they want to do with their phones. Fortunately you do not define jailbreaking nor what people do with it. You handle YOUR phone on your terms and stay off other people nutz.

I know everyone has their own reasons for Jailbreaking, but what i'm saying is wouldn't you prefer having an app that give syou more control and options over something that doesn't let you do much with?

I want an app that provides mad functionality with no hassles. IS does just that. If LS steps up to the plate by providing that then IS will pass by the wayside due to the fact that it isn't really supported.

I'm very curious what aspects of the standard LockInfo install users find to be complex to setup? I agree that attempting to use HTML themes for LockInfo is complex to set up, but that is very much an advanced feature for LockInfo. The native rendering should be install and use.

I cannot get RSS feeds to show up on the lockscreen.

  20. #18
Did you install the RSS pluggin and put your RSS links in the settings?

  21. #19
Yes I did, but nothing the RSS tab on the screen does not even show up, everything is enabled and everything else works as it should. Do I need to modify the .plist or something like this? I added the Gizmodo feed and tried my Facebook feed, which both work in Intelliscreen but I cannot get RSS feeds to show up in LI.

What's the exact URL you put in the settings for those feeds? I have Gizmodo on mine without any problems.
