IRealSMS 3.0- Customization

Okay- so i just got the IRealSMS 3.0- and loving every bit of it. I was able to change my notification bubble to one that i want. But does anyone know how i can change the status bar icon that comes with IRealSMS (attached)- id like to put my own sms status bar icon (attached) and cant seem to find where i can put it. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks

There is a winterboard theme for the status bar icons... it should be enuogh to get you what you want to know.

Reznor9- appreciate the quick response- could u help me out as far as how to place the images in what folders for winterboard- i couldnt find it in the link. (the link is no longer available). What the images need to be called and what folders and order they need to be (if any) for winterboard. Thanks!!

Thats how I have them setup on mine... and thats how to correctly set it up via winterboard...

Now if you want to actually change the files.. they are in:
var/System/Library/CoreServices/SpringBoard.app

and they are of the same filenames listed above.

How do you change the default IRealSMS icon? I can't read the plist file. Any suggestions?

I did it by creating my own icon then using i-Funbox browsed to the System Applications folder the iRealSMS folder, in there are the program icons i renamed the original [email protected] then named my icon [email protected] i also placed a copy of my icon in this folder and named it [email protected] now whenever irealsms updates and changes the icon i can go back and rename my copied icon to replace the original. I do this for all apps when i cannot find the folder in my theme bundles folders.

There's mods on Cydia for just about anything, you can just search up for cons and you'll find results for it. For example, you could change it to the iPhone Messages icon with a tweak.

I had Irealsms crash this morning and when the phone auto resprung all my messages were gone. Tried restore from within the app and nothing happened. Followed the file sting they provide in the restore option (var/mobile/library/sms/sms.db.backup) and it appears my messages are still there, but doesn't say where to copy/paste that file to in order to manually restore those messages. Any help?

I tried to register on their site in order to post this question on their forum but it kept rejecting my registration saying I needed to choose a phone model in one of their drop down menus, even though I had chosen 4s in the process. I contacted their customer support but not holding my breath.

Had it crash again today. Tired of losing all my messages. Removed app until they fix this issue. I emailed the developer and no response.

Try installing it again and see what happens bro. There has to be something interferiing, I haven't heard anyone else with the same issue.

I had the same issue happen today. All my texts disappeared and tried the restore button and nothing happened! Any help would be greatly appreciated!
