Hello from ZodTTD,

I have released a beta of genesis4iphone at www.zodttd.com. genesis4iphone is a Sega Genesis (MegaDrive) and Sega CD emulator for the Apple iPhone and iPod Touch.

This project will be progressing fast, so be sure to check back at MMi and ZodTTD often.

sorry i didn't own a sega system before other than "Game Gear" which is the coloured handheld console. What are the good games for this particular console?

An update has been released for this beta. It adds a lot of performance, especially in landscape mode, as well as new skins/icon, and autoframeskip. Sound is also improved.

Is it going to be available via installer.app anytime soon? If I do donate, do I have to ssh it to my phone? Or, can I open my iphone browser and drop it in as an application..? I would have no hesitation to donate as long as I would know that I could get it running. Ssh is an area in which I do not have much experience... I do have most all of the other emulators up and running..

It's currently available via the beta testers club repo at ZodTTD.com. So after you donate, you use add a special ZodTTD.com repo source to Installer.app and install that way. Note that you must create a directory /var/[root|media]/Media/ROMs/GENESIS/ and set the permissions of the GENESIS directory to 777. Thats the directory where your ROMs and if you use SegaCD, the Sega CD BIOS, go.

It will be released publically in the coming days though betas will keep continuing with improvements.

Glad to hear you got my gpSPhone (GBA) going. I will be having a beta of gpSPhone coming up shortly too.

o and as far as donating.. you have a paypal account right? hehe gpsphone is my favorite app!! im replaying link to the past.. THE... BEST...
