Prevent SMS message open on screen unlock

Searched on forums and Google, but could not find a topic on this...

I'd like to prevent a newly received SMS from opening when I unlock the screen.

Currently, when the screen is locked, I get the incoming SMS notification popup. When I unlock the screen, it automatically opens up that message. I want to manually open the message instead. Is there a way to do this?

I checked all the settings and there seems to be nothing for this. Maybe a 3rd party app?

iBlacklist will block popups. Also, in the message settings you can toggle Show Preview to Off.

I'm not asking to block the popups. I'm asking how to prevent the SMS message from opening as soon as you unlock the screenlock.

So switching the Show Preview to Off will do this? On my phone it just removes the message preview so it just shows the pop-up (which again, is fine).
