Just bought it, really smooth. I swear, it has sped up my phone haha.
One feature I would really like to see would be themeable sounds. Sounds for flipping through the wheel, opening a folder, launching an app...the animations are so smooth, they just look like they need sounds to go along with them, even if they are light, simple sounds.

Can you just add a new folder to the themes folder so you can switch back and forth?

Well its pretty cool I must admit. Need to fix the spotlight issue for one. other than that i'm good. No decrease in memory as i might have thought. I actually have more free(61) than usual(50).
4 out of 5 stars from me.

I think the font colors are a system setting that are not so easy to change. I have applied 10-12 themes on top of this and not one changes the font color. Similar to a program like Categories which uses the deafult black, this is also using that. I noticed the application names also show like they do in the Categories app as compared to how they show up on the springboard.

Bear with me please, lol. Everytime I compile my stuff into a theme, then try to upload it, I always forget some minor instruction. Or I'll forget about some random file name I changed or something. So here you go, let me know if something doesnt make sense

Great App I like it for the most part Has lots of potential.
would be nice to have it auto hide and auto show when the side is touched, or a secret spot that we can select. (People would be wondering where all the Icons went.
Also the Folders need to be themeable. Like a different icon for each folder and the ability to turn off names.
Sound as mentioned earlier would be a nice add. Even nicer if each folder could have its own custom sound when opened.
If you continue to grow this great app the better you make it the more people will want it. and at such a small price tag.
If you add more feature you could easy charge more.
What are your plans for the next release. What are you working on? Want do plan on implementing.
It would be great if you could post a list of these things on your main post and keep it updated as you go along.
I look forward to seeing where this goes.
Edit:
Another nice add would be that if a folder is open and you press the home button it would close the folder, and pressing it again would go to a per selected default folder.
Also I know the search thing is bugging people, but it would nice if you could add it as a icon to the wheel.Last edited by almulder; 10-13-2009 at 05:33 PM.

I have the app installed but whenever I try to launch PP Settings I get the following error:
Cannot Read Settings
PogoPlankSettings cannot currently read your settings plist file. Please make sure it is there and restart this app.
Does anyone know how to fix this?
Running with Firmware 3.1.2 and JB with Blackra1n.

Try removing the app and installing it again. Reboot in between.

I got my issue with the settings file fixed thanks to the folks over a PogoPlank. I needed to manually create the settings file.

I gave it a shot...
With all due credit and respect for this ground-breaking GUI, there's a couple things that prevent me from using it
I have several webclips, they cannot be used with this.
It doesn't play nice with Lockdown, all locked apps cause crash to safe mode on launch. This is NOT the fault of PogoPlank, but I need Lockdown.
It bothers me that you have to click a folder to bring it to the center, then click it again to open the menu. If you click a folder on the wheel, it should move to the center AND open the menu automatically.
For some reason, it ignores some of my theme icons and uses the stock ones, this kindof ruins the whole theme flow.
As someone else mentioned, the folder icons on the wheel need to be individually themeable, and the text needs to be removable or changeable to transparent.
It really seems like they should have resolved the "missing camera app" and the photos app icon issues before releasing this.
It is pretty cool how if your turn it off, your custom theme returns, unaffected.
I realize these guys cant possibly please everyone, and I dont expect them to try. This particular GUI is just not for me.Praise the Devs! To each and every one of you who spend your time writing code and making apps for little or no profit... Its YOU that makes the iPhone great, NOT Apple!! From me to you, a million thanks!!

I'd like to have it to where I can have the folders but have the "wheel" transparent so I can see my background. Every time I set the wheel opacity to 0 the folder opacity goes to 0 also. Grr.
