Vanishing Apps???

So i just downloaded a GPS app for my iphone. I used it today and i was going to use the program Rename to label it diff. when i re-labled it re-sprung my springboard and the app was gone...What gives anyone know what i can do?

I really don't know but I would say use iPhoneBrowser or whatever program you use to ssh. Go to applications, look for the gps app you downloaded and rename it to default. Some icons don't show up unless it's named correctly.
