Can you tell us what is in the current version? I'd like to test but I did have some small issues with the last one. I did like having a lot of my needed functions in one place, since you took down 3.0 I have found almost all of them as separate items but that's a lot of clutter.

supreme prefs was fine back on 2.x I am thinking the dylibs are to blame with all the issues in the 3.0 version. personally i think you added so many features into settings that is hit the point of obnoxious. if i were you i would take a different route. start with the 2.x version and include all those features in 3.0 first and release it as public beta (that way general population cant just cydia it) once the features are working from the last version and it is smooth with no memory leaks add additional options. the dock tweaks, although cool i believe cause perhaps one of the biggest problems to the 3.0 release as that would have to use a dylib. i admire your work but i would stick to the quickies and advance to the hard ones once the features of the last version work smooth

5dock, 5 rows, six rows, etc are not working. no matter how many resprings.

On another note all you that are bashing this why. if you have ever tried any development, modding, theme design you know how much goes into it. he has tried and tried with some issues but none of us need to use the program.

Ok, so far here's what works!

Custom HTML email sigs (that is a beautiful thing my friend.)

I'm not sure how to use the "Fetch New Data" setting in Mail, Contacts, etc

Cellular Data edit works (YAY!)

Custom Carrier works

Brightness works ( I actually really like that!)

Auto Dim works


What doesn't so far:

emoji (yes I know why)

5-6-7 icon dock (mobile substrate fail)

I'll report back as I discover stuff...

also phone does seem a bit slower after install...

Hi Mario, I'm glad to see another Supreme pref.

I personally loved your first release of 3.0 setting, and I would love to have the .deb for it (it worked perfect for me and I loved all the features)

So far this version looks promising as I haven't seen anything wrong (other than the mobile substrate)

Why doesn't Emoji work for you? After enabling you have to enable it again in Settings > General > Keyboards > Internation Keyboard > Japanese, did you know?

And Mobile Substrate options aren't working cause there's no .dylib file included in beta 1 - that will come later.

I had SP2 on my phone, then deleted it when it wouldn't update with OS 3.0. Only problem was, I had forgotten to turn off "reflective dock". There was no way to turn it off after I uninstalled, and Cydia wouldn't let me RE-install!

Later, I tried this newer version, had some problems (like 6-icon dock not working, which is the main reason I wanted it), and uninstalled again.

NOW, in settings, I can't access other cydia apps that should be listed there.

I love what SP or SS tries to do, but the fact that it doesn't uninstall cleanly to me is a big deal. It should have an automatic reset for uninstallation.

That's difficult since it modifies original files in Preferences. Your device may slow down a lot if i put something like com.apple.springboard back with an older setup of icons (backs up at install).

Doesn't reset settings work btw? You can also delete Preferences folder in /var/mobile/Library to reset everything to default.

OK, big apologies, Mario. This one was my fault. I had somehow disabled "Preference Loader" in SBSettings, which is why the apps wouldn't show in settings.

Good idea on the reset. That's much faster than a phone restore...

I love the integration of the prefs into Settings.app it really simplifies the whole idea(why didnt bossprefs do this?). as others are saying which i think you have explained is htat the dock selections arent working yet and wehn i make a custom carrier that does fit but is long every time my i wake up my phone it slides over to the right and slides back to the left randomly is if its recentering the text every time...idk why but thats just what it does...sheesh i need to work on my keyboarding skills again also you should make it an option (in the app) to restore the icon to normal like in an option....

I have read many many reviews and flames people have had with you, I am glad to see you are continuing your work. I have had a little programing experience (Not with iPhone), and I know how much it take to create even simple things at times.

Not sure if "Reflective Dock" is apart of MS, but its not working, also I have noticed you have removed the reflective option for the other springboard icons. I like that I could enable the both in the other version.

With this be fixed anytime soon.

Also ipod popup not working (Again might be apart of MS)

@iMario, with regard to resetting the preferences on uninstall could you write to some sort of log file which could then be referenced at uninstall time to reset those prefs? I don't know how much work would be involved or if it's even possible given the (de)installation process but that may resolve peoples concerns about permanent changes.

Supreme Preferences 3.0 (AKA Supreme Preferences Three) was kind of a failure, that's why i've started this one.

3.0 was a failure?

i thought it was great. all those small settings that have their own icon like 5 rows clutter your SB and all the other settings that aren't available any where else.

Emoji didn't work cuz I'm an idiot and forgot to enable it. Thought I had.

I know MS options aren't working yet. Is there a rotation inhibitor built in somewhere? that'd be cool. I know there's an sb settings toggle for it... but just a thought.
