It breaks Webclips. Remove it & they work again.

^^ thats crazy, cuz it said when i was getting ready to download it that it has that specific problem on the 3gs. no more than two letters before it crashes. and your on a 3gs?

it does the three letter crash when you try to search for something thats in a categories folder, have you tried that?

I found out what causes the crash, kind of. It seems it depends on the way you respring. When I respring with SBSettings and have search for music on, it'll freeze after searching for more than 3 letters when your music contains them too. But, if you reboot or use the respring app on cydia that resprings to the password screen, then it'll allow you to search w/o crashing. It won't even crash if you have search for music on!

I have the search for in everything on. I did a random search for "time to" and it found some of my music and some email stuff. I have a white 16g 3G[S].

there was an update that i just installed but it doesnt fix the issue with searching for apps within a categories folder.

yblaze- so ur saying i shouldnt respring with sbsetting, but rather i should download a completely separate app for just respringing?

Okay, I have a really good question. My theme uses transparent icons but now with spotbright, I only have little white squares for the recent apps and cannot tell which are which. Is there any way to use stock icons for spotbright and my theme icons for the springboard?

Works perfectly for me. If you use categories, this is a life saver.
