Does this override the ORIGINAL settings? I see some settings that are redundant. And if I disable SupremePreferences in SBSettings Mobile Substrate section then this will disable SP all together right?
Also, would anything in this app have an effect on battery life? Thanks

Possible bug? I like the idea of supreme iPod controls. However, if I disable it, it takes away iPod controls all together. I've tried just about every combination of disabling supreme iPod controls, disabling sp3 in winterboard, enabling/disabling iPod controls (under stock settings). No go.
Also, unable to disable custom carrier name after setting it. Hopefully in next beta (or RC), there will be a toggle for on/off, like fake time. I thought it would be like MakeItMine, you just leave it blank, but it wasn't that way (for me at least)
I'm rockin a 3G[s]
thank you for your hard work!!
[Update]
Ok, did a little tinkerin' around and found something interesting. When using SBSettings MS manager, I noticed that SP3 was on, even after I had disabled it via winterboard. (yes it did respring after I disabled it). So I went ahead and turned off SP3 via SBSettings and viola, my iPod controls are normal again. Normal as in they only come up when music is playing, rather than "supreme" or all the time. I would like to reiterate, I like the supreme iPod controls, it's just that I don't want them on all the time, which is why I like the toggle.
So in short it is def SP3, not my settings or iPhone.
I know that you're not really into suggestions, but my idea would be to have the 'iPod controls' toggle (like in the stock settings) right under where you pick the double tap home button.
Also, is there any plans to have the double tap home button parse the phone for apps? As opposed to the current precompiled lists? Just curious.
Thanks again! :-)

And it will be like a taco inside a taco within a Taco Bell that's inside a KFC that's within a mall that's inside your dream!

Can't do anything about the iPod Controls man. I thought at first it wouldn't work on iPod, cause that was the case on FW 2.x.

Yeah, I have beta 8 installed...defintely lots of good stuff in there. Noticed there no "S" in the Settings icon now though.

Heh...might need a tutorial or instructions for all the good stuff added!

I don't like the fact that it doesn't grab the current settings for anything. It should already know that I have email set to fetch every 15 minutes and other stuff. What happens if I don't go through an make all my settings the same? Which settings will take precedence? What if I do change the settings and don't make them the same, which one takes precedence then?

well for example i installed the last beta, looked through some of the settings but didn't really change anything, and then i uninstalled. After doing that my phone wouldn't sleep because the default setting in Supreme Prefs was "off" even though i never touched it, and i had to reinstall the application, set sleep to "ON" and then uninstall it again to get normal sleep behavior back.
Tell me if i did something wrong but that was the only way to fix the problem that i could see...changing the sleep time in the regular preferences after uninstalling supreme preferences did nothing...

Only thing this seems to have done is change the Settings icon...
