    Question Uninstall installer?
Hello, I've just recently jailbroken my 2g ipod touch. Since installer is going to be discontinued, I thought id like to uninstall it. At first, I tried going into cydia to see if it was there as a package i could just uninstall, but it wasnt there. I started to search about this online and one person said to delete the Installer.app folder manually. I tried that with diskaid. Now, when I turn on my ipod, the installer icon is still on my homepage, but when i click on it, it just goes right back to my homepage after about half a second of loading.

Does anyone know of how to get rid of the installer app, or just remove the icon from my homepage? Any help is greatly appreciated.

    Thanks in advance
