WinterBoard Lite: Improve WinterBoard's Performance

Winterboard Lite by David Ashman & Saurik is a new MS extension that reduces memory usage when some features are not used:

- Turns off UIImage loading if there no themes with UIImages
- Turns off UISound support if there no themes with sounds
- Turns off localization support unless the info.plist for a theme includes the key "Localized" with the value true

To install add the following Cydia source: http://david.ashman.com/beta

Don't really notice a difference at all...All i have for winterboard is weather icon and my own wallpaper on the SB. Not sure what I'm suppose to notice though. It works though with no problems.

Your supposed to notice more RAM on your iPhone. If you have SB Settings you can monitor this.

im glad that this has been released anyway, winterboard bugs me when it slows down. that's why i always end up going back to the stock theme. does anyone have all the locations for the original files on the iPhone?
im thinking about manually themeing by replacing files, so if ya have any info then let me know

I have not noticed a difference with this installed. I am using Lockscreen Info and I have custom icons through WB though.

Definite Increase!

I just installed this and I must say, wow! So far so good. We'll see how it fares the rest of the day. All I've been using lately is just user background and nothing else.
