qTweeter

qTweeter has launched and it's pretty cool!

qTweeter, a one of a kind status update application that lets you tweet and update your Facebook status like never before. It is straight to the point, super fast, ultra cool and darn effective. You launch qTweeter by simply sliding your finger down from the status area and can start tweeting right away. Once done, you simply press the update button to update your Facebook status or Twitter or even both. qTweeter saves you the hassle of updating your Facebook status and Twitter separately by doing both for you instantly.

Efiko Software - qTweeter

Yeah, the bad things I've found is that it doesn't play nicely with SBSettings and it's free for the first 15 messages. After that, you have to pay for it.

It was put together very well though.

I like it but they need to adjust how it launches because I like SB settings also. I would buy it.

Love it!

It does need a fix so it works better with SBSettings but it's still usable. Just have to close the SBSettings dialogue that pops up. Not a major issue.

It is pretty cool.

Ok! Dumb question of the day! How do you close Sb settings without closing qTweeter?

SBSetting pops up over qTweeter.

Hit the close button in the upper left corner of SBSettings.

This seems to work for me - SBSettings is not launching.

Conflict with SBSettings

There is a conflict in Landscape mode with SBSettings. However, in Portrait Mode, slide rightward on the status bar to bring up SBSettings and slide downward to bring up qTweeter. We are good friends with BigBoss and will work to come up with a better solution.

One has nothing to do with the other and you can still run both.

^^^ not really, qtweeter interferes with sbsettings... idk if its just because of the status bar activation or what but either way... id prefer to have this eat my memory than sbsettings

If you read my posts above you can still use both just fine.

If you follow the instructions posted Efiko web site and make sure you only slide down SBSettings won't even activate.

If it does activate you simply close it with the close button and qTweeter remains.

VinnyDakid posted the solution to the SBSettings issue on Twitter:

Start dragging downward from *above* the status bar (like up by the phone speaker) and drag towards the bottom of the screen. I've tested it about 15 times and qTwitter opened evertytime and SBSettings did not.
