I am certain XBMC would rocket to the top of the charts as soon as released. Especially if it included network streaming (which is its beauty and grace) I doubt Apple would allow it on the app store. Of course, I am not a coder and have no idea if it is even possible but it would be sweet.

Haha it would be an amazing feat to try to make a XBMC clone on iPod. I agree this would be cool but it does not seem practical. To utilize the full potential of a XMBC clone plugins would have to be created that I do not think Apple firmware, even if heavily modified could handle.

I've never heard of XBMC! Just had a look and am not sure what this does that Orb doesn't?
