I've just released the start of a new image browser.

imFlow 0.8 is on Installer today.



It displays Camera images by default, but will load a photo album you have sync'd if it can't find one, or are on a Touch.

What do you all think?

doesnt work on (my) 1.1.4. i see only white photos in flow. maybe you should give as an option to choose the directory where pictures are.

Yeah, it needs a album selector like the Photo viewer has, or maybe something slicker...

Would you give me some additional detail about what kind of images are on your phone? This uses the phone albums, not directories of files. If you have taken pictures with the camera, or have sync'd pictures with iTunes, it should find one of those. If you have loaded images some other way, it might not.

great app! any thought on implementing the rotation of the photos when you rotate your iphone? also, it'd be nice if when you double tapped, you'd be able to select the source for the images it shows.

one last thing i just thought of... incorporating the multi touch so you can zoom in on images.

Cobrra. Great work.. Yes Album selector would be great. I have a stable running 1.1.4 iPhone with many Apps running others seem to have problems with. In Coverflow images are a distorted. Some auto image resizing might be nice. I like that you can tap on the pic for normal view. Use of the accelerometer to rotate would be cool. Also how about tapping on pics to flip over to read and add tags of information. Sure you have plenty of ideas. Good Job. Chris

I'm on 1.1.3 with the geohack unlock and I get the same white boxes in the preview. The images come up correctly when I click on the while coverflow preview correctly from my Camera Roll. Anything I can do to help you test would be my pleasure! This has the potential to be an app I really need.

This is a great idea, I'm running 1.1.4 Ziphone 2.5jb and I'm like a few others in that all that shows up is white pics until I tap on something, then it shows the individual pic. Any ideas?

I have an iPod touch with the camera roll activated for use with the IMGrab.app. The camera roll photos are the only ones that show up when I use this. Is there anyway to view the rest of my photos with this? This is pretty cool.

The only photos that show up here are those in an [iPhoto] event called Wallpapers. All the other events ("albums"), as well as the Camera Roll do not show up.

Also, the images look stretched out and pixelated.

Can't find it either! Buuuutt, will it even work for me?? I'm on 1.1.2 unlocked and jailbroken?? Sounds pretty cool! I would like to install it, but where do I find it at, can't find it in installer, unless I'm not looking for the right name??

cool concept, but i'll wait until there is more functions available. Like if want to view albums and not camera roll. BTW it works on 1.1.4
