It was launched into Cydia Store today. It costs $2.99. The description says:
"Customizable haptic feedback for the keyboard, buttons and more!
Includes a settings pane to customize the activation sources, trigger events and vibrate duration".
Has anybody tried it? I'm curious to see if it might lower battery life significantly. Also, I wonder if you can have it only enabled if you have the phone on silent. That would be the only time I'd want to use it, personally. What do you guys think?

i bought it last night... its the same thing as keyvib(free) but you can change when it vibrates and how long... you can also set it to vibrate when you just touch the screen. Personaly i thinkg $3 is a bit much for what you get. But its very clean looking, and it does what it says very well.
I like KeyVib because
1. It's free
2. I only need that "vibration confirmation" when I am hitting a key on the OSK, not ANYWHERE on the phone. (Though it would be nice if it vibrated as I slid my finger over other keys after pressing and holding one of them)
Great app... i bought as soon as i saw it on cydia...does everything it supposed to do, and is install through the native systems settings, wich IMO all system apps should be. Lord knows we do need another app on the springboard
I know this is an old topic, but I'm having trouble with the iPod using version 1.0.7 on 3.0 beta 5. The keyboard also doesn't work for me. Any suggestions?
When u download it it doesn't day it doesn't work: it says it's not TESTED. On the 3G s. Like Stealth said, no problems. It works better on the 3G s because of the extra ram
