MobileChat 1.2b is out now...looks like ApolloIM has some competition. This version supports .Mac as well (too bad I don't have one).

Like ApolloIM, it seems to stay connected once you leave the conversation. Not sure about WiFi since my work blocks the port.

I definitely like the icon and the interface on MobileChat better...too bad neither of them can get the auto text correction on top of the words instead of hidden below the keyboard.

I guess now it's a race to libPurple! Game on!

Yes looks good. Two questions though...
Does anyone know where the sound files are? I would like to change them.
Also, how can I delete one of my screen names? I have two on there now but I want to only use one of my accounts.

I want to delete an account as well.

My icon is a chat icon, but I guess that's from some old theme that I never fixed properly.

Ambo, reboot the phone and the new icon should be there. It's much nicer than the old duck.

It is all internet based, no SMS fees whatsoever.

This. It's the only reason I'm not using it or ApolloIM yet.
