hClipboard update (0.1-5)

hClipboard (and iKeyEx) have been updated (from 0.02) and is available on the developers download page.
No mention when (or if) this version will be available on Cydia.

iKeyEx: http://networkpx.googlecode.com/files/hk.kennytm.iKeyEx-0.1-5.deb
hClipboard: http://networkpx.googlecode.com/file...oard-0.1-5.deb

To install, download to your computer and SSH to your device.
From your favorite SSH program (WinSCP) or Mobile Terminal, navigate to the copy directory and install:

dpkg -i hk.kennytm.iKeyEx-0.1-5.deb
dpkg -i hk.kennytm.hClipboard-0.1-5.deb

Respring or Reboot.

Cydia/Manage/Packages will reflect the new installed versions and also will correctly uninstall.

Note: If this is a 1st time install, don't forget to enable iKeyExkeyboard

* Fixed issue 14 : The clipboard order can be customized.
* Fixed issue 23 : The undo key now replaces the delete key.
* Fixed issue 8 : Selection copy on read-only text area is now possible.
* Secure text copying is now possible.
* ℏClipboard now gets a preference pane.
* Theming is recognized. Icon and font color will be adjusted for bright keyboard themes.
* Number indicators are constructed with images dynamically now instead of reusing Emoji. As a result, templates get an indicator also.
* Added localizations:
o Italian, Finnish, German and Dutch
o Japanese (thanks tokihide).
* Minor fixes.

I was so excited. Unless I'm doing something wrong, you still can't copy/paste from a website.

You can, theres link that you save as a bookmark on the iPhone, you click the bookmark and then copy any text in Safari.

install went fine for me.
placed files in /tmp/ and ran the commands like this:
dpkg -i /tmp/hk.kennytm.iKeyEx-0.1-5.deb

and as far as i know, you can delete the .deb's after install.

love hclipboard, and this made it even better!

this needs to be in cydia, however.

Yes you can. No longer needed after they're installed

Does not matter. Seriously, copy the deb files anyplace you want

. Pick some junk location ... like /tmp or /var/tmp ... up to you. Just know where you put 'em...... When you use Terminal (from WinSCP) --- change to that same directory. Make sure they are there. ls -l.....

Then execute dpkg -i ...........deb. dpkg installs everything in the correct location. After dkpg finishes, delete the .debs.

corrupted filesystem tarfile - corrupted package archive
dpkg-deb: subprocess paste killed by signal (Broken pipe)
Errors were encountered while processing:
hk.kennytm.iKeyEx-0.1-5.deb

any thoughts

Installed it, I like being able to change the order of items in the clipboard now!

You should note that there's a newer version of iKeyEx been posted on the google code page: http://networkpx.googlecode.com/file...eyEx-0.1-6.deb

any thoughts

'corrupted package archive' sounds like the deb file is corrupt. download it again from the developers site, and copy to your phone. try again.

Can someone pls tell me if I can copy text from a received sms (read-only text area) in the default iphone sms app.

If so how?

I cannot seem to get it to work. So far only Clippy can do so
