MXtube download youtube to iphone!!

should this save to the ipod video folder or does it keep it under the MXtube file folder? Mine stays in the MX folder not hard to move it over but i was just wondering if i need to change something.

it puts it in its own folder in mobile/media/Mxtube so im guessing thats where it should be.

i agree but this is a 1st version release and its doing great for me. a few crashes but nothing serious. ive seen much buggier apps on 1st release and i expect this app will be one of the community favorite ones.

great app, is it possible to save the videos in the same folder as the the videos transfered with itunes? and where in the iphone is the folder with the itunes transfered videos?

I think I have found the cause of that nasty half downloads issue. I cleared my mxtube download folder on iphone. Download few new videos and it went ok. I think we have to clear the folder after 3-4 videos. Hmmmm that's awkward! I hope developer will fix this bug.

when u get an error that says movie could not be played, just delete the movie and try to download it again, theres some glitches but its a great program im sure theyll be fixed soon

I am on firmware 1.1.2

I have to download the same file 3-4 times before it downloads the entire file! Seems to be random where the file just stops transferring and video appeas to have downloaded completely.

To retry download, I use "finder" application to delete the old files first, otherwise I get the error message saying video cannot play.

Also occasionally the program will quit straight back to springboard, while performing a search.

Excellent application though, mimics the original youtube application nicely. Hope future revisions will iron out these bugs, hehe

no i was on wifi, although i learned that for some videos, trying a few times might work, there are some videos that just dont work at all no matter how many times you try

This is pretty cool. But is it only me or wouldn't it be nice with a preview? Seems a little awkward to first browse and look for nice videos on YouTube, and then have to start MXTube and find the same video for download. Would be nice if i could only use MXTube for everything. Also, i'm on 1.1.2 and the Featured page is empty. Can only see videos if i do a search.

Anyway, this will be a great app in the future.

I have been experimenting last night, and found that internet connection has alot to do with the premature completion of youtube downloads.

One must ensure wifi reception is optimal before trying youtbe downloading! Any kind of major pauses or slowdowns are read by MX tube as finishing point and will not resume.

Also make sure your internet connection is fast!
