hClipboard: another global copy & paste solution
Its on cydia now from the bigboss source. uh oh, its looks like competition!!! check it out guyz!!! Some may not like it because it copys the entire context of the text and puts it on a clipboard and then you can select what you would like to copy.

yea i just tried it out myself and its kinda complicating. i immediately uninstalled it and got clippy back. Clippy keeps it short and sweet and to the point. hClipboard has way too many uneccessary options which makes using it kinda frustrating.

Well I have both installed to play around with them. Clippy is easy (no brainer actually) but hclipboard is pretty neat. Took a minute or two to get used to the controls but after that its easy. Now I just need to figure out how to copy on safari..

I like Clippy better. It's simple and straight to the point.
HClipboard is okay.

i saw it a little bit ago and think i'll stick with clippy as well. it seems to do more of what i want it to do, plus, i haven't upgraded to 2.2 yet.

has one weakness... doesn't work in password field. other than that, more usable... works in more things, including safari.

Anyone having issues getting "Templates" to save the actual template?
Whener I switch away to "Clipboard" and switch back to Templates they're gone.
Any ideas?

didnt try templates yet.
using this instead of clippy allows to keep the option to easyly navigate with the magnifing glass between letters, so i like that a lot.
i also liked being able to use his bookmarklets for copying text from webpages, but using them we could copy with clippy too :P

I was just about to ask this. Everytime you switch to clipboard it deletes all the templates. Once they get this fixed this will be much better than clippy.
Its much easier to select text with with hclipboard than it is with clippy. It takes forever to select stuff with clippy and with hclipboard you don't have to worry about selecting stuff when you are just trying to move the cursor. The templates will save alot of time when typing stuff you type often like email adresses, usernames, quick text messages, etc.
This is far superior to clippy in my opinion.

actually there is one button that copies entire message, and there is the button below it which will only select what you want. To use it you place the cursor where you want to start... hit that button, then place the cursor where you want to end, and push the button again.. it will select just what you wanted... pretty neat, but kind of annoying that it uses an internation keyboard cause I also use the emoji and it feels like Im hitting too many buttons... torn between the two

Pretty effing said that jailbreakers can program a copy paste program, and Apple still hasnt lol...
