ReflectiveDock v1.1 by Stimpy5050 for F/W 2.2 [post updated 1/15/09]
Have you missed not having the dock reflections of the good 'ole 1.1.3 days? Well whine no more! Enter ReflectiveDock. This MS (Mobile Substrate) extension adds a reflection to your dock and is configurable via WinterBoard. The cool thing is that no respring is required if you move icons around or to/from the dock. It all happens in real time!
NOTE: WinterBoard is not required for this to work, using the WinterBoard theme only allows you to change the opacity and gap between the reflections and the icons.
For WinterBoard modding: After installing, go to /Library/Themes/Dock Reflections.theme/Bundles/com.apple.springboard/ and edit the plist file. Just be sure to apply the 'Dock Reflections' theme in WinterBoard. The cool thing is that if you like the reflections a certain way for one theme, but not another, do this: copy the 'Bundles' folder from inside the Dock Reflections.theme folder to the .theme folder for the theme that you want the specific reflections. Now mod the plist to your liking. What'll happen now is when you apply the theme, say PlainJain, it will apply the reflections settings. Also, if you don't want reflections for a certain theme, simply copy the contents of 'No Dock Reflections.theme' to the .theme folder of your choosing. Simple! :-) And just to clarify, if you do these individual theme mods, you need not have 'Dock Reflections' or 'No Dock Reflections' active in winterboard, it defeats the purpose of the individual mod.

Big ups to Stimpy5050 for this extension!

Great find! Working excellent.
On a separate note, what is that app that is in the middle of your dock? Never seen that before.

Actually, you don't need WinterBoard, if you don't want to customize it. It will work without WinterBoard, and you could customize it, but it would involve SSH'ing into a folder and actually overwriting a file. The way the WinterBoard method works is that you don't overwrite anything, it simply makes a backup of the original and then copies your modded file in its place.
So the short of it is no, you do not need WinterBoardAnd it will be like a taco inside a taco within a Taco Bell that's inside a KFC that's within a mall that's inside your dream! Springboard screwy after reboot? Here is the fix
