Causing my springboard to crash.. uninstalling.

I like it, but it has caused my phone to crash 3 or 4 times since last Friday... I know its the cause since my springboard hadn't crashed in months prior.
It isn't the end of the world, but when it crashes and I respring, it comes back with my icons scrambled all over the place and a new page on the end! It would be nice if this was as rock stable as the 5-icon dock!Praise the Devs! To each and every one of you who spend your time writing code and making apps for little or no profit... Its YOU that makes the iPhone great, NOT Apple!! From me to you, a million thanks!!

I've been using this for a few weeks now and think it's fantastic.
there's only been the very odd time when coming out of an app, or while installing something where the icons temporarily get piled up a bit, but it fixes it's self after a few seconds. other than that i cant really fault it. I would like the wobbly icons back though when your arranging stuff, but that's not exactly a priority.
I'm using it with the medium SMALL-E theme, and it looks lots less crowded than the normal size icons

Does any one know which is the official source for Cydia?
I know there are some hi-jacket versions up on different repos, but I'd like the developers final version - which is that?

Ok, which repo will it be on once it's released? Anyone know? And when?

It will be on Ste's repo. So no worries about adding any repos.
And it will be like a taco inside a taco within a Taco Bell that's inside a KFC that's within a mall that's inside your dream!

Version 0.54 is on Cydia. You need to install pwncenter and 'all sources' and you will find it. I just installed manually version 0.55 and I have a question for those that are using it. Can you install more than 144 items on the springboard? My reading of the original thread on mactheme is that you still can't, even though with five columns and nine pages you could go up to 180. But I'd like to know for sure, I haven't read the whole original thread on mactheme, it's more than 15 pages with 20 posts per page...
BTW, if you like wiggly icons, the icons won't wiggle anymore, i guess SB is too crowded for wiggling...but you can move the icon easily, as usualLast edited by marcoiac; 02-11-2009 at 12:19 PM.

Only problem I am having with the app so far is when my phone goes to safe mode after a respring sometimes, and I hit respring again, I noticed all my ICONS are messed up again, and I have to spend time mannually fixing it. This happens sometimes, not always but for sure when I get the safe mode, hope this can be fixed with next release

Dallasnights, do you have more than 144 items on your springboard or not? I read somewhere that Saurik heavily discouraged messing with that, but I want to make sure. If I can have more than 144 items on SB I think this app is useful, if not, its utility is limited (of course, you end up scrolling less, but I don't see that as a major improvement). Thanks

nope I use Categories and hide most, I have only 4 pages of apps, still like I said when I hit the safe mode, this is when my icons get all messed up and I have to fix manually

I think they are both (0.54 and 0.55) only the latter is obviouly more recent but the former is the only one on Cydia, for some reason. At any rate, they are both beta, so it's your own risk to install them. But it seems many people have installed them with no problems
EDIT: although problems may arise with uninstall/upgrade of the system...Last edited by marcoiac; 02-14-2009 at 12:36 AM.

I love this feature. Its so much easier. Instead of 10 pages its reduces it to half. Great

@KWALL: Nice.. I followed suit with the 5 icon rows/columns/dock and created this theme(just a custom edit of the smoog theme with all my speed dials on the bottom row)... thinking of editing the page dots though. I really dont like them... Might just remove them all together.
