iDial
A rotary dialer for the iPhone like in the old days. Check it out. It is on the rep.sosiphone.com as a source in Installer. I attached a picture. It works perfect on 1.1.3.

That's wonderful! Can it be skinned? It would go perfectly with the Victorian motif I've got going on.

Yes you can, just go into the application folder and you see the different images. I will be tweaking a little myself.

Not bad at all - not quite right, but neat dialtone sound when calling and nice sound/animation when dialing.

Apple definitely needs to let us plug new dialers into MobilePhone

Yes it does rotate and makes the right sounds too.

It's working like a charm on my 1.1.3 JB 8Gb iPhone and as already stated before, yes it does rotate and make the right sounds! Sweetness indeed! Now if someone can figure how to put this in place of the standard dialer, it would be awesome!

I love this app...the actual "dialing" is what makes it.
I felt the original look is a bit "sterile" so I'm working on a mod. It needs some work (still can't get the bottom buttons to change...!?), and I want to teak it some more, but I though I'd post as is...http://rapidshare.com/files/97115932...ev__A.zip.html
