i have all the files downloaded required to make converterpro work except ffmeg, when i try to install via installer it says package download failed. i have tried everything. converter pro doesnt work without it. does anyone have a fix for this.

It seems that the link that the installer source uses to find the zip file for ffmpeg references a link that has exceeded its allowed bandwidth limit. There's not much we can do about it until someone either hosts the files elsewhere or the person running the installer source fixes the link. I hope one of these things happens soon since I'm in the same boat as you.

o damn, Ok at least im not the only one. Thanx for the info man!! They need to hurry up and fix this since this is a widely used app. I cant wait to get my hands on it!!!

HELP. The Apache Server part was screwing up my web connection. I tried to uninstall it through installer and it gave me operation failure. I tried to delete it manually though afp and its says i cant cause "get3" is still running. How do I stop it!.

okay...i managed to delete the folders in /Library/Webserver/Documents using SSH. Also I deleted the .apps in the applications folder. Are there any other folders I need to delete to manually uninstall this. I still get Main Script execution failure if I try to uninstall the Apache_iPHP package

Has anyone else had this problem with the Apache server killing the internet. (I have Comcast Cable) Could it be something my ISP is doing? Why can't I uninstall this?

where would the ffmpeg go at? and if the Apache-n-PHP is downloaded for us where would that go as well...

Just add http://leegao.110mb.com/a.xml to your repo and all apps will install in their respective folders. Im not sure where ffmpg and apache would go though.

PS Jon Singh is working converterpro 3.0b1 with a built in media player so no more iphppod due for release April 16th info on ipodtouchfans forum

okay, i got converter pro to work. one question though, is there any way to turn off the server that the application uses when I don't need it? Does it suck up battery running in the background all the time? I tried a few bossprefs plugins and non worked. The Apache control detected an apache server running but i couldn't turn it off. Any suggestions?

Also, now that we have AVPlayer.app, it would be nice if we could have this app without a server at all.

Okay, after getting everything to work the app pooped out on me. I kept getting could not connect to server messages when I tried to run it. I rebooted a few times, but it didnt help. I tried to reinstall the software. I was able to uninstall the converpro package but got main script execution on the Apache_PHP package uninstallation. So I have to delete it manually as I did before in the above post. Oh well, I hope this works in the future.
