I installed this app and switched my dock image, but I would like to get rid of it now, but I can't!!! Uninstalling the app does nothing, neither does rebooting the system. Any help?
Fellas, any help? Does anyone know how to get rid of the dock picture?Last edited by MarsVolta; 09-09-2007 at 05:06 PM. Reason: Automerged Doublepost

Well I did reinstall it, but what I'm trying to do is delete the dock picture. When I installed summerboard, my entire background, including the dock, changed to the wallpaper i chose under settings. Now the bottom of my wallpaper is cropped out for the dock picture installed through this app. Is it possible to make the dock picture "invisible" again? I've unistalled/reinstalled several times to no avail. I was hoping to find a solution that wouldn't require me to restore my iphone, as I've already installed several apps.
As a second thought, if I do restore my phone, would I have to "jailbreak" it again to reinstall these apps? I really appreciate any help here guys.

you always have to have some dock when you use summerboard. cause summerboard crops wallpaper right above the dock line. if there is no dock image, it's just gonna be black border.
Use this template to make your own dock that matches wallpaper.
And here is another dock template if you interested. <DockTemplate>
**EDIT**Oops, I just found out that summerboard got updated to have transparent dock ability!Last edited by Mandara; 09-10-2007 at 03:42 AM. Reason: Added another link

Can someone take a moment to point me to procedure or tell me how to put a dock image from my Mac onto the phone without using jailbreak.
It appears there are methods but i can't find instructions on how to do either.
Finder?
- Directly replace the SBDockBG2.png ?
DockSwap?
"To install the dock images, you put the DockImages folder in /var/root/Library/Dockswap/" ...How?Last edited by Raven2k; 09-10-2007 at 05:06 PM.

I've made a few Dock backgrounds. Put these in the DockSwap folder on your iPhone and you'll have them available.
The DockSwap folder:
Code:/private/var/root/Library/DockSwap

Basicly you're using FTP to move the files. If you're using your own files (as opposed to the ones that come with DockSwap), install DockSwap and then FTP the custom dock graphics to the phone.
Check the guides here Particularly the WIKI about Drop and Drag file transers to your iPhone. HERELast edited by Murfunit; 09-11-2007 at 12:52 AM.

How come I don't see any thumbnails? I just see the image names?? I got them from the new docks post in Themes
Dockswap doesn't change anything either
