FontSwap can actually be found under this source in installer: kankon.org/kankon


or if you install manually, for those having problems, after doing the following commands:
/bin/chmod -R 755 /Applications/FontSwap.app

/bin/chmod +s /Applications/FontSwap.app/FontSwap

make sure that the following plist has permission set to 755:
System/Library/Fonts/CGFontCache.plist

how did it crash your phone? i've had this both installed initially from installer and again manually after i rejailbroke and never had a problem

no extra fix for 114 but don't try to add your own fonts. Your phone will crash and you'll have to restore

I Thanked you for the info - it works fine.

I made a copy of the file /System/Library/Fonts/CGFontCache.plist so if anything goes wrong I will just replace the file with my original copy.

i cant find it... ive had the touch fans repo for a long time... ive tryed to retype it several times but it is always in the uncategorized part... ive got all the info so it finds the source but its nothing in it:-( what shall i do??

FontSwap is no longer available via installer.

You will need to directly install via SSH.

First, set the permissions:
/bin/chmod -R 755 /Applications/FontSwap.app

Then setuid
/bin/chmod +s /Applications/FontSwap.app/FontSwap

to get it to work. It is firmware-independent and created by Skylar. The directions I posted are his from ipodtouchfans. Hope this helps anyone who is having trouble.

I've done this multiple times (including last night when I restored to get customize how I wanted it)

All things change, system fonts, lock clock font, and notes font.

I just installed fontswap on my 1.1.4 manually. At first it did not change the fonts, what I did was give it 4777 permission with winscp and after that it worked great. This is the same as doing this:
setuid
/bin/chmod +s /Applications/FontSwap.app/FontSwap

only from winscp without going through terminal. Hope this helps.
