Hi SkylarEC,
First of thank you for this app. I hope you don't mind, me starting this post. I hope you will develop this app further. I noticed that some fonts are displayed to big, is there a way to fix this? Is it possible to reduce the size of the ttf font file. I do have two phones one running 1.1.1 and the other 1.1.3. If you need any help in testing different fonts, I will be glad to help. Thanks again.

hi guys, really bummed out at the moment, installed the fonts app and it looked nice, i changed my system fonts twice and then selected the default option in the top right hand corner to put them back and bam, my beloved iphone is now giving me spinng wheel all the time, really gutted, have it since november and had it set up lovely. I was running 1.1.1 i think twas produced in week 37. tring to connect to itunes now to restore but itunes says an error occurred (5) your iphone could not be restored, anyone have any ideas?

No, Comic Sans is one of the fonts I was testing for the "Add A Font" feature. I am thinking of pulling from different lists for System and Notes, since notes seems to be capable of reading all fonts. And the worst thing that will happen is that notes will refuse to start until you resetthe font.

Font sizes are set (explicitely, or otherwise) by the application calling them, so there's nothing I can do to change their size. Although, I can change the size that they appear to be in the preview box. That way you can see all of Zapfino, or any other large fonts in the future.

I outlined a fix for that on the previous page. You do not need to restore. I'm curious though, because try as I might, I can't get my iPhone to get the same error.

my iphone is back tp life, phew, thanks for the fix, and in fairness thanks for the app too. Just to let you know exactly how it happened to me, i installed your app via installer, went smooth as usual, springboard restarted, i went straight to your app, launched fine, wanted to change system fonts only, so went straight in there, i first tried courier new, exited app and check out the new font, worked fine. went back into your app and stright into system fonts and changed to annother (sorry, but cant remember the name, a few rows down from the top) exited app again and looked at nice new font, not much dofferent from courier new, then went back to your app again, straight into system fonts and selected default in top right corner in blue colour and exited your app, then felt very bad until you told bout your fix,
hope this helps you in some way.

fayth22, ive sent you the folder, you may want to remove your email addy from the last post due to scanning progs on teh net looking for email addresses

I wish I would have saw this before hand . BUt thats the samething i was doing. just checking out the app and it crashed my phone. Lost everything ... more so the weird thing is I spent the rest of day going from 1.1.3 to 1..14 and so on.. cause my vibration feature went out on the phone. not saying its your apps fault .. but Perfect timing my phone crashs and then I go nutts trying to get the vibration to work haha

I'm curious. If you had this crash your system, what firmware are you on? I'd like to know if maybe some firmwares can't handle all the fonts.

i really need help im using iphone 1.0.2 and i downloaded iFont recently tht i was trying on some new font thn suddenly the wheel of death appeared so i off my iphone wit the home menu together now i cant even go to my homepage of my iphone,it just goes to the apple screen(the one when u press the on button)now its stuck there wit the wheel thingy at the middle.HELP PLSSSSSSSSSSS. i miss my iphoneeee.
