I have the same problem as above. ^^^
EDIT: I fixed it, Just reinstalled mobileterminal rather than that other version of terminal. When it ask for password, Just put alpine or download the fix on installer. Iphone booted in verbose mode fine after entering command.

Didnt work for me on 2.0.1. Entering the command as mobile fails. su to root and it accepts the command, but you still dont get verbose mode after rebooting.

I know apple disabled boot-args in the 2.0 firmware and higher. But has anyone figured out another way of getting this to work?
