Read/Write Arabic on your iPhone 2.2 for FREE! - 2.2 Firmware - Full Guide!
Go to Cydia and Download HebDev's Hebrew for 2.2
After Downloading and installing reboot your iPhone.
Download and Extract this file:
Now you must copy the Arabic fonts and keyboard to your iPhone:Code:http://rapidshare.com/files/173133563/System.rar
Copy Arabic.lproj to System/Library/Frameworks/UIKit.framework and give it 755 Permission
Copy UIKit to System/Library/Frameworks/UIKit.framework and give it 755 Permission
Copy Keyboard-ar to System/Library/Frameworks/UIKit.framework and give it 644 Permission
Copy TextInput_ar.bundle to System/Library/TextInput and give it 755 Permission
Now restart your iPhone and go to Settings>General>Keyboard>International and choose the arabic keyboard
Now go to any Text application like Notes for example and enjoy writing and reading the best language on earth

I tried to do it. It is working.
Arabic keyboard shows but true arabic reading does not show properly.

does it override hebrew.
Hi
I need both languages; hebrew and arabic.
Does this "patch" overrides the hebrew by hebdev with arabic language ? or can I use both languages ?

Hello,
I hope someone can help me, i did everything what was mentioned in the first post but when i write arabic the letters dont get attached to each other.. how is that possible?

To avoid the disjoint text you have to install the fonts..
HEre's where you need to copy them:
/System/Library/Fonts/Cache

Shame
It appears certain letters don't display correctly at the end of words. Such as "noon", "meem" and "he" (as in 'her'). That is a shame, but it's still a very good start. Better than no arabic at all!

Hi i have upgraded 2.2.1 and i tried to install HebDev's Hebrew for 2.2, i am getting an error "Cannot Comply"
Note: The requested Modifications cannot be applied due to required dependencies or conflicts that cannot be automatically found or fixed
Modifications
Install HebDev's Hebrew for 2.2
Depends Iphone Firmware = 2.2
Please help me i have 2G iphone

easy way to make your iphone arabic free!!!
if anybody wants to make his or her iphone arabic and can read arabic just go here الاصدار الاول للتعريب الكامل للايفون2.1... 2.2 عن طريق برنامج iArabizer - ملتقى المحترفين
if u cant read arabic just go to
1- cydia>manage>sources>edit>add
2- type http://cydia.iarabizer.com after add it
3- return to cydia then done cydia>changes choose 2.2 >install
4- confirm when finish reboot device
5-go to sitting>general>international>keyboards>arabic=on
go to easy way which i put it
