Hello everyone!

I hope I can bring a good news to everyone here waiting for this app to be released under the "send and recieve pics" version !!

Here is their website and it seems that they have a minor problem with it but it will get fixed and Ste will put it on his repo. So expect to see it on the installer in the next 24 hrs. Bravo guys and again good job for Ste for the repo!!

I have a question: I am using AT&T through the normal iPhone contract. Will I incur any charges on my monthly bill if I send/receive MMS, since my contract obvious doesn't have MMS? Or does it use data, which is unlimited? Thanks in advanced.

EDIT: Bah! Nevermind, I found out that you need the Multimedia Messaging package with AT&T for MMS to work.

I added their repo to my installer and I have the new MMS on my phone, but like many people said it crashes back to the springboard. Its too late for me to start to see whats wrong with it, so I'm going to bed now. I only wanted to bring out the good news and say Congrats to the people that made this great app!!

I manually installed and it doesn't crash to SpringBoard. Make sure permissions to both 'smshook.dylib' and 'SwirlyMMS' is 0755.

Just tried sending & receiving. It's working perfectly!
When I receive an MMS, I get the 'new voicemail' sound though.

Yea same im on 1.1.4 installed via installer, than reset all permissions in swirlymms through ssh to 0755, im assuming its just 1.1.4 (frowny face)

I restored to 1.1.4 and used iNdependence to unlock/jailbreak/activate and installed installer using iNdependence..

After i installed SwirlyMMS 0.3.1 and rebooted, the phone froze whenever i turned it on...could not even use it..

I had to restore (yet again) to 1.1.4 and activate etc using iNdependence again..

What could be the problem? Its happened with a few apps now.. Summerbord, LEDBanner and now this new SwirlyMMS...

Could it be a permissions error or something? Its really irritating cos every app i try to install just freezes my iPhone and i have to restore all the time...

went to 1.1.4 this morning and just crashes back to springboard on start. Have changed permissions for all files to 755 and 777 just incase but still nothing.

ssh into your phone & try this:

cd /Applications
chmod +s SwirlyMMS.app/SwirlyMMS
chown -R root:wheel SwirlyMMS.app/SwirlyMMS

Maybe you are just going over the app limit for 113 & 114?
