Why was it taken off installer?
Important Notice: Due to recent events, the NES.app development team has called the security of the Null River iPhone installer application into question, and its ability to ensure the integrity of quality third party NES.app packages. Citing these concerns, we have decided to temporarily remove NES.app from Installer.app's roster of software packages, and Null River has complied. We are working diligently with the developers of Installer.app to resolve this matter and hopefully restore NES.app to their package distribution. Until then, you will need to download NES.app from the official distribution site or PXL repository. We apologize for this inconvenience, and hope to have this matter resolved soon.
NES.app uses a heavily modified version of the InfoNES emulation core to mimic the 6502 processor in a Nintendo Entertainment System, allowing you to play ROM dumps of games designed for the NES console. ROM dumps are files containing the dumped instruction code from a physical cartridge. In many cases, you are legally entitled to posess a ROM dump of any game that you presently own. ROM images for NES are widely available online, or with the appropriate hardware, you can dump them yourself directly from the cartridge.
NES.app started as a fork of iPhoneNES v0.01, but has been completely rewritten to run very fast, and with many additional features including sound, multitouch support, full-screen, landscape mode, game genie codes, saved games and much more.
NOTE: As of recent, stepwhite re-released a much older version of NES.app as iPhoneNES v0.31. This may have been a mistake, as NES.app is in no way affiliated with the iPhoneNES project (which is still in pre-alpha stages). We recommend using the latest version available here.Last edited by tonydrone; 09-07-2007 at 03:56 PM. Reason: ^ From Natetrue

I tried to install version 1.1.0 with ibrick but all I get is a white screen when I click o the icon. So I tried to install the old version from installer...and I get this message saying that the app I was about to install comes from an "untrusty source"

Am I reading this wrong, or does 'integrity of security' mean someone was screwing with the files and trying to load a 'virus/worm' or what ever you wanna call it on the phones
