dTunes 2.7 - FREE Torrent Support

dTunes 2.7 is now available on Cydia.

It provides assistance for FREE Torrent downloading directly into dTunes.

Install and view the Torrents Tab for more information.

I've noticed a couple of issues with updates in Cydia recently.

If you're not seeing the update just uninstall your current version of dTunes and then install the latest to get 2.7.

Note: Uninstalling dTunes will NOT remove your downloaded files.

crashing on 2.2 firmware here. anyone else experiencing this?

i uninstalled previous version and installed the latest one, with the 3 popups at the beginning.

now it runs for about 4 seconds and then goes back to main screen.

EDIT.

I think the problem was my internet connection. I'm at work and was logged out of the password protected wifi network. as soon as i disabled wifi and went back to 3g it now runs fine.
I think the app was spluttering when it found it couldn't download the ads that run along the top edge of the browse window.

This is very not cool... I also noticed that the ''modify'' button was replaced by a ''remove'' button. If you do a manual search for an app, the app shows up as the version you have installed, not the current version available. As soon as I removed dTunes, the Cydia version number changed from 2.64 to 2.7. I wonder how many other apps i'm using that have updates available!?!
So, now we have to remove all our Cydia apps and reinstall them all just to see if any of them have been updated???

I hope this is a glitch they plan to fix, and not an intentional change!!

anyone having issues with terminal not starting the torrent? when I go in and type ./gettorrent it gives me this error.

Library not loaded: /usr/lib/libcrypto
referenced from /usr/bin/ctorrent
reason: image not found

something about trace, blah blah blah. I can't get anything to start I just get the same error each time. I get it started in dtunes and get the message about going into terminal then that error.

I've been informed that you can fix this by installing Open SSL through Cydia.

dTunes Working well...Mobileterminal not!

dTunes is working fine but when I try to execute the ./gettorrent command in mobileterminal all I get is a blank screen. The cursor is visible but the text is not visible. When I type the cursor moves but no text. I have tried changing the text color in the configuration settings but no luck.
Anyone else having this problem?
Any clues on how to fix this?
Cheers

I would rather not have this junk in dTunes. It's already good as is. I mean, I don't think I will be downloading crap on the phone most of the time. Plus the additional MobileTerm install is annoying because it just sux so bad that I won't even bother using it.

Is there a plan to have another package that will just have the basic dTunes without the torrent junk? dTune Lite? LOL. That would be awesome.

When cydia starts and it is updating automatically, cancel it and then go to "Changes" tab and click refresh and while it is refreshing click on the "Manage" tab. IT should work..

I know it sound weird but it works..
