Downloading torrents With dtunes
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Opening Dtunes and searching for a torrent. (I also have done this through safari using DL content.
2. Will press the link to download torrent in safari or dtunes.
3.Prep. The torrent in dtunes then go to terminal and enter ./gettorrent
What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
The torrent to start downloading instead it creates the folder and is stuck at 0kbs.
What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
v364 1-10 on iPhone OS 3.0, 3.1, and 3.1.2 on iPhone 3Gs
Please provide any additional information below.

according to cydia the versions of dtunes and terminal are:
Dtunes 3.0
Terminal 316s-7
My iPhone is first gem. V2.2.1
I down load the torrent in dtunes. I got to the brows folder in dtunes and prepare the file. It tells me that the file has been prepared. I then go to terminal and type ./gettorrent. It creates all the file folders the has
Listening on 0.0.0.0.51413
0/0/1 [0/940/0] 0MB,0MB | 0,OK/s | 0,OK E
Then after about 5 min or so it tells me it's timed out
This is happening on all torrent files I try to install in terminal. The only number that realy changes is the 940Last edited by Reac666; 10-13-2009 at 02:37 AM. Reason: forgot info

Make sure it is a .torrent file not completely sure what I'm doing haha but I know the trackers at pirate bay weren't working if you get a trackor error you can delete terminal with ifile. Just don install dtunes again it automatically installs mobile terminal
It sounds like it's the website what website did you download the torrent from? I get mine from btjunkie and works great. Also don't know if this matters but I always sign into terminal as root try that. Just type su then it says password: alpine
Do you guys know how to cancel seeding in terminal?Last edited by devro_85; 12-29-2009 at 11:58 AM. Reason: Automerged Doublepost

I got my 3GS on release day, after I jailbroke it, one of the first things I remember doing is installing cTorrent and Torrentula both worked just fine at first, all apps are up-to-date via Cydia however I am also now on OS 3.1.2. Now after I download a torrent file no matter the size or file type it shows as
ip 0.0.0.0
0/0/1 [0/999/0] 0MB, 0MB | 0,0K/s | 0,0K E: 0,0 Connecting
warn, connect to tracker failed: Operation timed out
For the ip it says
Listening on 0.0.0.0:2703
sorry about the double post but who even forced the theme for iPhone viewing never added a way to exit posts.Last edited by Ed Hardy; 01-06-2010 at 05:24 PM. Reason: Automerged Doublepost
