Installer 263

Cool, there's an alert circle on the springboard when you have an update waiting. I never would have noticed this if I hadn't chosen to wait installing the new Community Sources because my Installer is on the 5th row of icons, thus hidden until I scroll. Because of the instant gratification nature of Installer you'll never really make use of those alerts unless we can set the Installer to check automatically. I'm thinking a settings tab with frequency of autocheck (manual, once a day, or once a week).

Keep up the good work guys.

Works for me, although it really takes the excitement out of checking installer for an update.

Yes, it does work. The trick is not to open Installer every time you go to use your phone... Eventually it'll scan for an update on its own and then tell you about it. I don't know what the frequency is.

It only gives the alert when you launch it, so far Installer doesn't auto-check for you.
