iRealSMS Update With Quick Reply: Reply on Springboard
With the new iRealSMS update you can reply to text's form whatever app you are using, when you get a text just hit quick reply and it will reply to the text without exiting whatever app you are using.
I tried it and it works great for me, its so convenient. The only thing i would like changed is if you quick reply it still shows the text as unread, which is kind of annoying but whatevLast edited by Bernie-Mac; 12-04-2008 at 04:31 PM.

I noticed that today. It puts this app over the top of all the others. I also noticed the SMS showing as unread after replying. I'm sure it will be fixed soon. They seem to be on top of everything. My only wish now is that they would speed the app up a little. Nevertheless its the best.
EDIT: Oh crap! Their website shows V2.0.6.1 which addresses the unread SMS issue. Should be showing on Cydia soon!! I love these guys!Last edited by TheOrioles33; 12-04-2008 at 07:09 PM.

WOW! That makes me want iReal now.. Hopefully MySMS will do something like this. Such a great idea.

Yeah this is a really cool update.
Because I waz getting sick of the lag I am experiencing when getting into the app and chat screens.

Actually im usin 2.0.6.1 and using the quick reply feature does not mark the text as read. But it says that it does in the bug fix section im so confused right now

i just want everyone to know here that it not only did NOT mark it as read but instead but me at a -1 on the default app. hahahaha i remember i thought this was so funny when someone else had it.

its not the phone i sent the message to....it was my ex that i cant block since freakin MCleaner is on the ispazio repo and its DOWN!!!!! AHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!

did the developers intend for the quickreply box to be showing when unlocking after receiving a text (regular unlocking, not using slide to view on the alert)?
doesn't seem like a feature that should be there. also having to close all these boxes causes the new messages to not be marked as new the next time you open ireal.

Lol Im using 2.0.6.2 and now with the quick reply ferature on it basically disables the badge. What would be perfect is if u use the quick reply it marks it as read. and if u hit close it shown on the badge as an unread text message any one agree?

Cool feature, $13 is still a bit steep for a replacement SMS app... If they combine that with an IM app, then maybe $13 would be okay.
And it will be like a taco inside a taco within a Taco Bell that's inside a KFC that's within a mall that's inside your dream! Springboard screwy after reboot? Here is the fix

The quick reply feature
as u can see im using the clock.app then i get a text message this in the new quick reply feature in irealsms which is awesome
