Yes. Just find the sound file for the sound you want. Make sure it is converted to .caf and name the file received.caf. Then SSH into your phone and go to your theme's folder. Create a folder within your theme's folder and name it Folders. Inside Folders, create another folder and name it BeejiveIM.app. Lastly, place the sound file inside the BeejiveIM.app folder. These steps are assuming that you are using winterboard.
