Intelliscreen + Jailbreak 2.2 = mail.app crash?

Anyone else have this issue: If intelliscreen (2.2.9) is installed and activated and set to show unread meail AND I get a new mail message, mail.app crashes.

It's definitely intelliscreen -- I've toggled actviate and can reproduce the issue. However, even if disable my mail acccounts in intelliscreen, it still causes mail.app to crash.

Also, it's only when I have unread mail. Causes a crash if there are unread messages on my imap server or if I try to mark a message as unread in mail.app. However, if all my messages are marked read on the server, mail.app runs fine.

To prevent the Mail.app from crashing, you need to turn off the Taskbar Icons feature in the IntelliAlert portion. The Taskbar Icon feature also causes Intelliscreen to constantly restart if you receive a new SMS.

That only seems to be the only thing not working correctly on 2.2 as far as I have seen, everything else seems to work just fine.

We just need to wait for the developer to update Intelliscreen for the Taskbar Icons to work. Apple may have changed how the DBs used for SMS and Mail work.

hey i was just wondering if anyone has intelliscreen 2.2.9 on firmware 2.2, if so, are you able to you intellidial? whenever i try and use intellidial it seems as though intelliscreen crashes and reloads...?

For everyone that turned off the Taskbar Icons and are in need of them, search for a app called Backwards Compatibility by Jay Saurik in Cydia. He updated his app for 2.2

With it installed, all of the Taskbar Icons, SMS and Mail work perfectly fine now.

I don't know if this works with IntelliDial or not, because I have not tested it.

I am using Intelliscreen 2.29 with firmware 2.2.
Ever since I updated I cannot get Intellidial to work at all.
Everything else seems OK.

Anyone else having this issue?
Any recommendations...or just wait for an update.

Thank you! i thought i messed something up while SSHing into the phone and messing with my mail folder. I was about to reinstall 2.2 and jailbreak all over again. Gooooood thing i found this post. thanks again!

Same issue here. I uninstalled IS until Dev release an update.

IS is working fine on 2.2 if you install Jay Saurik's Backwards Compatibility app.

The only thing that isn't working correctly still is IntelliDial.

Wow... mail constantly quitting. I thought I was going nuts. Installed the backwards compatibility layer. It works like magic.
