Funiculus Instrument Tuner: v0.60 - guitar, banjo, ukulele, violin, etc
Funiculus Instrument Tuner version 0.60 will be available on this site's Installer repository soon...if you want to install it before then, you can download it from the Funiculus home page at http://www.mauvilasoftware.com/funiculus
The changes have been fairly significant...the screenshots describe them well.
The fretboard mode currently supports the following instrument tunings:
Guitar: Standard
12 String Guitar: Standard
Mandolin: Standard
Banjo: Standard
Ukulele: Standard
Violin: Standard
Viola: Standard
Cello: Standard
Baritone Ukulele: Standard
Guitar: Drop D
Guitar: Open A maj
Guitar: Open C maj
Guitar: Open D maj
Guitar: Open E maj
Guitar: Open E min
Guitar: Open G maj
Guitar: Open G min
(Note: not all of these instruments/tunings have been tested...e.g. I'm not aware of anyone having tested a real violin, but I have no reason to believe it wouldn't work. The only things I think that might not work are low pitched instruments...e.g. a double bass. This is due to the limits of the iPhone's microphone. But this hasn't been tested either.)
(And if any singer wants to test it out, please let me know how it works on the human voice ["iCapella"])
A brief description of the new modes can be found at the following address:

I've installed Funiculus 0.6 on my 1.1.2 iPhone. The App launches correctly but when I play an open string on my guitar nothing happens - no amplitude (even though the phone is close to the Guitar). If I plug in the Apple headset, the amplitude goes crazy (4 bars in a silent room) and continues to jump around even after the headset is unplugged.
Any suggestions?
