An NES emulator for your iPhone (no, we CAN'T give you links to ROMs, but Google knows all), this is one of the more popular apps for the iPhone, adding as many games to your iPhone as you can find ROMs on the web. Ah, its nice to be playing Mike Tyson's Punch-Out and Contra on my iPhone.

Created by nervegas, it is very well maintained, and now includes support for Game Genie, has working sound, and saves games as well. One of my personal favorites!

NES is available via their site, iBrickr/Breezy, and Installer.

Where's the option to turn off my sound now? It's been replaced with reset!

Also what frameskip do most people use? Mine runs great at 3, but then I get a ton of slowdowns/lag... which gets me killed almost every time no matter what game..

I would like to know how to turn the sound off as well. There's certain times when I don't want sound, like when I'm in class.

turn down the volume on the phone with the buttons on the side that's what worked for mine.

OK cool that worked. I tried flipping the switch to silent and that didn't work.

Earthbound Zero. (Best MF'ing game for iPhone NES)
Ninja Gaiden I, II, and III. (II is the best IMO)
Kirby's Adventure.
Castlevania.
Ghosts n' Goblins.
Little Samson.
Lemmings.
AND, OH GOD, WHY DOESN'T BATTLETOADS WORK! My life would be complete.

what does the NES icons look like? I d/l one ROM and there were 11 icons in the file

The controls are as good as theybr gonna get its just they need to fix all the sound issues it lags so bad now and they have still yet to fix super mario 3 so they still gotta lot of work

I am trying to put NES on my phone, but I can't get past trying to log into WinSCP. It keeps giving me an error message,saying network error: connection timed out, so I keep trying to reconnect, but it just won't do it. What am I doing wrong?

just use iBrikr or installer.app to put nes on. it's much easier. and ibrikr has a nice easy way to put in the roms too.

And Reset is once again Mute. I think thats about the 6th time its gotten switched. To reset you really just need to load the ROM again.
