If your speaking of the tethering program which you have to "buy"...its on the dev's website and INCLUDES the install for iphone app.

small review, may be usefull:
with iModem you can use your iPhone as usb modem. I have a real problem with my wi-fi connection, so usb tathering it`s very important.
With this app i have no problem with browsing/downloading etc.

after install, windows part automatic install phone part. After that all work more then good

PEakaS,
Did you have to SOCKsify/proxify (set up your browser, IM program, etc to use a SOCKS proxy) your programs for it to work? If so, then it's just the same as the iPhone Tunnel program that's free.Member of the hackint0sh forums.

A use little more fresh version that most of people.
When i have a problem to config a outlook, i wrote to the developers at they support email, he answer that in new version no need in any configure, and asked me for beta testing.
New version are realy good! Just install and all. All my software work without any proxy settings.
I don`t know when they lauch it… but it be soon, because i don`t have any problem with beta.

works via Wifi, but you do not need to have a wifi network. Just setup an adhoc wifi connection on your laptop and connect to it from your phone and PC.
I think I get you now about your Wifi Issue. For USB tethering, you can resort to Iphone Tunnel Suite though it might be a pain in the *** to figure out how to work that.Last edited by bmxtreme; 11-01-2008 at 06:13 PM.

Ok, and how i do this if my laptop don`t have wi-fi adapter and i don`t want to buy new?
For me easer to use iModem via USB than buy additional wi-fi adapter. But it is for me. Another people can think different.

After futzing with numerous other iphone>notebook via USB tethering solutions (WiFi in my notebook went south some time back) and getting extremely frustrated at the complexity not only of setup but the numerous steps required after setup to use it, I gave iModem a try.
WOW! Extremely simple set up, up and online in less than 5 minutes. Definitely worth the $10 IMHO. Not related to them in any way, just a happy camper with the iModem solution.

so i just want to be clear on this..i have a pc without a wireless card, and an iphone. I do have a wireless router that my iphone can connect to. so if i download imodem i can use the wifi connection that i have on my phone to surf the internet on my computer right?
$10 seems to be a fair price for this. i was going to use pdaNET, but it seems that you cant use it without a wireless card in your computer right? i want to turn my iphone into a wireless receiver since i do not have one, i figured i could save some money this way. thanks
p.s. any other suggestions on how this could be done would be greatly appreciated!Formerly of modmymoto.com
