What's with the "Reloading data" window that constantly pops up with the latest version? It's rather annoying...

> Cydia is easy for you to get on your iPhone - if you've got Installer on your iPhone/iPod Touch (and have used
> BigBoss's tool to move your apps folder to give you more space - that's in Installer also)
Can I infer from this that you must have Installer installed before attempting to install Cydia?
TIA

Nope. They're mutually exclusive. Cydia is the superior of the two - it's a very good package manager and makes good use of the GNU toolchain.

Just so newer people read this thread, and hopefully my post lol.
Cydia is really outdated and slow currently.
Rock is a much better app in so many ways.

If your touch is jailbroken, you should already have cydia.

Has anyone recently submitted any paid packages? I submitted my first on 9/20/2010 and it's now 10/14/2010 with no information of any kind. I've tried emailing Kyle and Saurik but I'm still waiting. This is the longest "3-5" days I've ever experienced. I'm curious to know if 3+ weeks for approval is the norm. I have other free packages on Cydia which usually took less than 24 hours to get approved and show up.
