[RELEASE] Quick unlock by triple hitting home button
Hi All,
Triple home button clicks from Lock screen and iPhone unlocks itself
for 10 seconds. To finalize unlock hit home button or launch any
application. Otherwise phone will lock itself after 10 seconds.
Will be on Cydia in the next couple of hours.

Oops, I forgot that the project is called QuickUnlock

Pretty cool app.
I'm someone who has issues with my lock screen freezing. This app, does get me through the lock screen freeze(sort of): After three taps, it gets me to my home screen, but of course, i'm still "frozen" and can't hit any of the icons.
Zolee:
Does the above information give you any inkling of why I (and others) have lock screen freeze issues?

Clashes with Quickgold.
First tap does nothing, second tap brings up the ipod controls, third tap unlocks the phone and brings up the quickgold screen. As a result, the phone does not autolock in 10 seconds.

I have a question about using quickunlock with Push E-mail. With firmware 2.1, my phone does not check for new e-mails unless it is out of sleep mode. Now, is a phone out of sleep mode when I hit the power/home button to bring up the lock screen or if only I unlock the entire phone? If it only updates e-mail when I unlock the entire phone, would enabling quickunlock and previewing the homepage for 10 secs allow my e-mail to update?
Thanks.

Sounds good, maybe you can also make one to reject incoming calls.

I worry about an app that wants you to further stress the mechanical moving parts of the iPhone instead of just swiping a finger on the screen.
But that's just me...

I downloaded and installed the app. Does it work if you have a numerical lock on the iphone. When I click it 3 times it the keypad comes up. Then 10 secs later my phone says locked. So I think that the app really does act like it should but my phone shows the keypad instead of the Springboard. Any ideas?
