One more thing about creating LockDockBar skins:
The default icons are in :
/Applications/MobileMail.app/icon.png
/Applications/MobilePhone.app/icon.png
...
Just copy those to the theme directory, if you want the default icons:
/Library/Themes/MyIcons.theme/Bundles/com.apple.mobilemail/icon.png
/Library/Themes/MyIcons.theme/Bundles/com.apple.mobilecal/icon.png
/Library/Themes/MyIcons.theme/Bundles/com.apple.mobilephone/icon.png
/Library/Themes/MyIcons.theme/Bundles/com.apple.mobileSMS/icon.png

I really like the idea of this app, but I would like it to work with status notifier also. Hopefully something will happen. For now I'll just use both.

OK Zolee, I did this... and as I suspected (even with my novice theme making status) it changed the LockDock icons alright... and it also changed the icons in my springboard theme.
Is there a way to apply UNIQUE icons that ONLY LockDock will use??
Dont get me wrong or anything, I really do appreciate all your help! Thanks!!

I noticed a bug. When an application is already open, and it is launched again from the lock screen, the app doesn't reopen completely. For example, if I'm texting someone and don't exit SMS app, the phone will eventually autolock. Then I receive a text, and try to open up SMS from lock screen. The phone will unlock, but SMS app doesn't open correctly.

I will change the code that I will try to load some certain icon names (like LDB_com.apple.mobilemail.png), so it can be skinned by Winterboard, if it doesn't exist (default) I will use the apple provided icons.
With this you can overwrite only LockDovcBar icons, without touching your Springboard.
I'm busy right now with work, probably I will finish by sometimes next week.

I just installed this (busy replacing iphone at apple, re-pwning, etc..) and i like it but i dont like it, having the icons there all of the time is kind of eh, i thought it would sort of be like taskbar notifier just on the lockscreen. Like the lock screen would be blank until you got a new text or something then the sms icon would appear (just like your winterboard theme to go with taskbar notifier) and you could tap it, is there a way you could make that an option or something?

LockDockBar is not a extension of StatusNotifier. This is a quick launch bar, a totally separate application form StatusNotifier.
But!
This clickable icon feature will be incorporated into StatusNotifier as you described, so the icon will be visible only if you have a message, and will be part of StatusNotifier, instead of a Winterboard theme.

I know its different from statusnotifier but i was hoping it would act in a way similar to statusnotifier, but you answered my question by incorporating this into statusnotifier
Thanks alot, i cant wait for that update to statusnotifier (man i said statusnotifier a lot lol)
Now that i think of it, do you know when we could expect an update to statusnotifier that adds the feature you just mentioned?Last edited by Bernie-Mac; 10-29-2008 at 03:20 PM. Reason: Automerged Doublepost

Question for zolee.
Is Winterboard required for this app?
I had Winterboard installed first.
Installed Launch Bar - working fine.
Removed Winterboard but kept Launch Bar.
Does Winterboard leaves something that is needed for Launch Bar to work behind after its uninstalled because Launch Bar is working fine?
Am I okay running it this way?
