Because both bug my phone for some reason and always make it reset to safe mode. Plus I like this dock on the front.

Oh I see.

I've been using Status Notifier for two days now and I've yet to get thrown into safe mode.

Just lucky so far I guess.

I've been using Status Notifier since the first day it was released and I've never had my phone go into safemode. It's definitely something else

Zolee

Zolee, thats GREAT, but it still gonna create issues for people who DONT use calendar on thier main dock AND have custom themes... The use of the same theme icons for the dock on my phone looks stupid.
Can you make a set of unique icons for this dock? That way they could also be edited by the user to blend with any theme they may have.

Perhaps some image files enabled by WinterBoard that works the same as Status Notifier (also a KICKASS utility)

Your RULE Zolee, thanks for everything you do for us!!!!

Great work Zolee

Would be great if there is a Winterboard theme to replace the icons now. They are too clunky on a lock screen... Icons like those used for Status Notifier would be great

You can easily customize the icons, just create a Winterboard theme!

Example:
/Library
/Themes
/My Custom Dock Icons.theme
/Bundles
/com.apple.mobilemail
/icon.png
/com.apple.mobilecal
/icon.png
/com.apple.MobileSMS
/icon.png
/com.apple.mobilephone
/icon.png

Be sure the icons has the same height as the original ones, because LockDockBar button bar has fixed height.

Enjoy!

Zolee

Arrrgh! My nice aligned directory structure got messed up

These files are needed in your Winterboard theme:

/Library/Themes/MyIcons.theme/Bundles/com.apple.mobilemail/icon.png
/Library/Themes/MyIcons.theme/Bundles/com.apple.mobilecal/icon.png
/Library/Themes/MyIcons.theme/Bundles/com.apple.mobilephone/icon.png
/Library/Themes/MyIcons.theme/Bundles/com.apple.mobileSMS/icon.png

If you mean the 0.1.1. Just copy it to your iPhone (/tmp) directory.
Go to /tmp and then "dpkg -i com.otyo.LockDockBar_0.1.1_....deb"
You may have to uninstall it first: "dpkg -r com.otyo.LockDockBar"

One more thing about creating LockDockBar skins:

The default icons are in :
/Applications/MobileMail.app/icon.png
/Applications/MobilePhone.app/icon.png
...

Just copy those to the theme directory, if you want the default icons:

/Library/Themes/MyIcons.theme/Bundles/com.apple.mobilemail/icon.png
/Library/Themes/MyIcons.theme/Bundles/com.apple.mobilecal/icon.png
/Library/Themes/MyIcons.theme/Bundles/com.apple.mobilephone/icon.png
/Library/Themes/MyIcons.theme/Bundles/com.apple.mobileSMS/icon.png

Is there anyway to remove the the background bar? If i delete the icons will it make all of the buttons transparent?

If you delete the icons, the default apple icons will be used. To hide the icons, just make a empty/transparent icon in the theme.

Hiding the background can be solved, i just need to modify the code, so it can be skinned by Winterboard.
