Quick question Zolee, were do I put the update, have had a look around the main files but can't find the com.otyo.Lock any where.

If you mean the 0.1.1. Just copy it to your iPhone (/tmp) directory.
Go to /tmp and then "dpkg -i com.otyo.LockDockBar_0.1.1_....deb"
You may have to uninstall it first: "dpkg -r com.otyo.LockDockBar"

One more thing about creating LockDockBar skins:

The default icons are in :
/Applications/MobileMail.app/icon.png
/Applications/MobilePhone.app/icon.png
...

Just copy those to the theme directory, if you want the default icons:

/Library/Themes/MyIcons.theme/Bundles/com.apple.mobilemail/icon.png
/Library/Themes/MyIcons.theme/Bundles/com.apple.mobilecal/icon.png
/Library/Themes/MyIcons.theme/Bundles/com.apple.mobilephone/icon.png

Is there anyway to remove the the background bar? If i delete the icons will it make all of the buttons transparent?

If you delete the icons, the default apple icons will be used. To hide the icons, just make a empty/transparent icon in the theme.

Hiding the background can be solved, i just need to modify the code, so it can be skinned by Winterboard.

I really like the idea of this app, but I would like it to work with status notifier also. Hopefully something will happen. For now I'll just use both.

OK Zolee, I did this... and as I suspected (even with my novice theme making status) it changed the LockDock icons alright... and it also changed the icons in my springboard theme.
Is there a way to apply UNIQUE icons that ONLY LockDock will use??

I noticed a bug. When an application is already open, and it is launched again from the lock screen, the app doesn't reopen completely. For example, if I'm texting someone and don't exit SMS app, the phone will eventually autolock. Then I receive a text, and try to open up SMS from lock screen. The phone will unlock, but SMS app doesn't open correctly.

I just installed this (busy replacing iphone at apple, re-pwning, etc..) and i like it but i dont like it, having the icons there all of the time is kind of eh, i thought it would sort of be like taskbar notifier just on the lockscreen. Like the lock screen would be blank until you got a new text or something then the sms icon would appear (just like your winterboard theme to go with taskbar notifier) and you could tap it, is there a way you could make that an option or something?

I know its different from statusnotifier but i was hoping it would act in a way similar to statusnotifier, but you answered my question by incorporating this into statusnotifier Thanks alot, i cant wait for that update to statusnotifier (man i said statusnotifier a lot lol)

Now that i think of it, do you know when we could expect an update to statusnotifier that adds the feature you just mentioned?

Yes, you are doing ok!
LockDockBar does not depend on Winterboard!

Please make the clickable icon feature a choice though. Maybe an on/off switch in the prefs to show the clickable icons or not.

hi
great app but i am having a problem.
Once in a while the app launched from the dock does not load correctly especially the email app comes out blank. Then it wont work from springboard either and i have to restart the iphone i noticed another person had the same problem.
