do you even have any dead pixels that you are worried about?

I once prayed to God for an iPhone, but quickly found out He didn't work that way...so I stole an iPhone and prayed for His forgiveness.

Dead pixels? Don't know. Was hoping this app would identify yes/no. It changes colors as the screen is tapped and flashes with a double tap. All this is good I suppose . . . but what in the begeezin is it doing . . . and how does it fix anything?

It's actually talking about stuck pixels, which are commonly called 'dead' pixels. A stuck pixel is a pixel that is permanently stuck in one colour, in contrast with a dead pixel, which is permanently shut off. This program lets you identify such pixels by showing you a totally coloured screen, so you can see if any pixels are out of place.
One way to fix a stuck pixel is my rapidly flashing RGB colours, causing it to 'unstick', which is what this program is attempting to do. It doesn't work all the time, but its been known to.

Your are supposed to let this app run for about 30 mins and will "unstick" your pixels
