[RELEASE] WbApp v0.76 w/Builder & HTML
[RELEASE] WbApp v0.76, now with theme Builder & HTML wallpaper previews.
Builder allows you to copy components from existing themes. It also provides a theme remover.
Preview any Wallpaper.html (or Widget.html) theme in WbApp.
Change log:
Note: if the version is not listed it was not released.
v0.76 Revised WbWeather widget to use the new Widget.html file. Updated the html preview code to include Widget.html along with Wallpaper.html.
v0.75 Complete redesign of "Info" themes. They have been split up into "Info" for user guides and "Util" for utilities. Moved all the settings into one settings panel. Added three html "Info" guides; App Guide, Builder and Prefs/Settings. Revised the theme counts and removed the "Info" and "Util" items for an accurate total. Added a pop-up alert notice and respring for low memory. Previewing html wallpapers w/javascript consumes a lot of memory and it can still run low on or out of memory. Revised the prefs file but will import old version on first run so no user data is lost. Low memory alert had choice, removed choice, now forces respring.
v0.74 Added html previews for WinterBoard themes that use a Wallpaper.html. The preview works for all Wallpaper.html and Widget.html themes. Yes indeed, you can now preview the weather widget using YOUR actual settings. Revised remove theme action, doesn't force a respring, just exits WbApp.
v0.72
Added a theme Builder which allows you to copy components of existing themes into a new theme. You can also update your themes. This also includes a theme remover, it allows you to delete themes and not just the themes you "build" but ANY theme. Of course this WILL NOT remove the theme from Cydia but that's as easy as a couple taps in Cydia.
v0.70
Added Alert pop-ups on all of the "action" buttons, mostly because I have the buttons so close together this will prevent say an accidental Respring on the Weather Widget panel. Added "active" settings for the toggle switches so when you are ready to load a new theme it will display your current settings for the toggle switches.

Greg great to see finaly a Upgrade for this
was waiting for so long. BTW why do you skipp all update for cydia ? I am still on 0.68 and dont see any intermediate update appear
hope this one will come lolzzz
I have request if you can help me out. Saurik still didnot intergradted the Carrier logo option( saw your msg in other hread) Is it possible for you to do an add on ? you have a lot of skills it is not that complicated for you ro impliment it. Basicaly how it works manualy is : You have rename a .png file like your Operator name and put it in the operatoer folder . So i dea would be creating a new theme, and put inside 2 pngs, one Default Carrier.png & FPS Carrier.png so when slected in WbApp you just rename and copy them in correct foldr according to the carrier we are On.
Is it doable for you ?
Thanks a lot
Also is the sound previw option planned for any next updates ?

Saurik integrated a carrier option in the new release of Winterboard. I don't know if it is what you are looking for though.
Nevermind...I read it in the changelog, but cannot find it.Last edited by CaptainChaos; 10-10-2008 at 05:40 AM.

lol - yeah got a bit carried away there didn't I?

I have been loading Carrier's for the past few WinterBoard version. Of course they'll only work AT&T (com.apple.ATT_US folder inside Bundles). I'll take a look at the code and see if I can't figure out how the new carrier files work.
PS I am going to try to work on adding sound previews to the next update.

Update: Here's the snipit from Saurik's page:

pf's been kind of busy, should be up today -

The new, er rather updated Weather Widget.html is sweet. Not sure if everyone noticed but now you don't have to muck around modding html wallpapers, just pick one like Around the World 24 and then include the widget. Nice... Jay jumped right on the change when I asked him about it.
Edit: Here's what I'm thinking on the sound previews;
You have to set the theme as an Extra, then just bop back into the preview and on the flip side, if there are any sound files, I'll list up to five to preview.
I think I'll put some other images on the first panel. A battery image would be easy to include and maybe some UI images.Last edited by CyberGreg; 10-10-2008 at 03:35 PM. Reason: Automerged Doublepost
