just jailbroke using quickpwn on 2.1 and im tring to locate the winterboard source and i cant seem to find it..anyone??? pleaseeee

i didnt know if maybe its more a pain and it seems like alot of people prefer cydia so i went back into quickpwn and tried to check off cydia instead and hope it overrides the installer

Re-pwn and don't select it or just use boss pref hide the icon and don't worry about it!

funny story..i had to run out and was messing with the installer tring to install a lil bs app..i think it was air horn and all of sudden my phone rebooted itself and got stuck in the grey pinapple screen of death lol..got home just did the DFU and restored it tried re pwning it with cydia and custom boot logo using morphey version quickpwn and cydia will not appear.

the only reason im not using the normal quickpwn for windows is because when it gets to the point with dos window it crashes and goes back to the pwn GUI. For some reason the morphey version of quickpwn doesnt crash and doesnt go threw the dos window.

again I am using a bootcamped version of xp lite also. dont know if that has anything to do with the dos window crashing.

If you're using a bootcamp, why not just use pwnage for Mac? Works perfectly, and it's the only updated software for 2.1

i wish it was that simple, but for some reason pwnage wont actknowlegde my ipsw software. and i have 2 files of the same thing from 2 different places so i know the issue isnt my ipsw files. I feel like its something on my mac maybe..not to sure.

My pc winpwn wont install cydia for some weird reason either.

its like it searchings forever and does not see either of the ipsw files i downloaded with the mac progs

HOLY CRAP ITS WORKING LOL..im waiting for it to finish..

well its a great sucess..i have cydia and installer..i just needed to restart my mac 20 times and actually sit there while the screen searches for the ipsw file..thank you magic pwn cat!!!
