[preview] DTR - DoubleTap REBIRTH
DoubleTap Rebirth
Bored of the boring iPod controls that pop up when you double tap the Home button? Try a whole new experience. Double tap the Home button while surfing the web, listening to tunes, or playing a game, and the status bar extends, giving you quick access to your favorite Apps, your most recent SMS messages, Calendar events, iPod controls, a Pad for taking notes, Quick Preferences, Accessibility buttons & much more - Completely customisable.
Visit the blog for more info & screenshots
DoubleTap Rebirth
Inspired by Google Android.
This is VERY experimental at the moment, It doesn't work sometimes and there are many bugs and tweaks that need to be made. I should probably be able to release it eventually but there is a chance that it may never be stable enough (I'm not an expert, this is my first major iPhone project)
BETA COMING NOVEMBER! (PROBABLY!) CHECK THE BLOG!Last edited by Conn18; 10-19-2008 at 04:50 PM.

I apologise in advance for bad english and clarification and understanding Its not my mother tongue
it wont allow apps to run in the background.. it's not really an app.
When you're using an app you can double tap home to bring up this menu.
You can access all the functions on the menu and double tap home to exit the menu and return to the app you were using. If you select a favorite app on the menu it will exit the current app and take you to that one.
Also, this will not be released on Appstore. It will be released on Cydia if anything, but it is currently in no state to be released to the public. I also need to make some easy way of changing the preferences (ie people can change the sms message displayed to the next calendar event for example, and change their favorite apps, and change color of ink on the notepad)
Thanks for your positive responsesLast edited by Conn18; 10-06-2008 at 03:45 PM.

Dude, that is insane! I will gladly beta test this for you. Seriously, I hope this comes to fruition!
And it will be like a taco inside a taco within a Taco Bell that's inside a KFC that's within a mall that's inside your dream! Springboard screwy after reboot? Here is the fix
